2009

I thought, seeing as I'm trying to introduce the slightest bit of order and planning into my life what better than to make a "things to do in 2010" list! (although i doubt I'd arrange enough time to write one) I can't help thinking that I've wasted 2009, i didn't take one autumn photograph (that i can find anyway) and that makes me pretty sad. I did actually buy myself a bracelet with an autumn coloured stone that i wear everyday, that makes me feel better.

But i will make this list, with every little thing i want to do and places i want to go to and that way maybe I'd actually have a progressive year rather than sitting around on facebook like some fat pedophile.

What i really want to do next year is take a photograph of the same setting (preferably a tree, or a load of trees) in each season. I'd quite like that, despite the fact that everyone does it but i think it'd be quite full filling (from an artist with no life's point of view).

I'd never heard of Paul Ruiz until tonight, his surfaces are incredible and they're full of raw emotion, slightly inspire me to make a more textured oil on linen painting for my extended project, hm. I also like how you can't see their eyes, either Paul Ruiz can't paint eyes or he wanted to portray a more hidden feelings kind of approach?
